The proposed study could be defined as an examination of political transition in Nepal. This would involve outlining the linkage between rise and fall of constituent assembly in Nepal. It would also entail studying the history of constituent assembly and the process of constitution making. The study would remain focused on constituent assembly and examine the causes of the failure of constituent assembly. There are primarily two reasons for the proposed study- 1) analysis of constituent assembly and, 2) its causes of failure. The failure of the constituent assembly was one of the most important events of the 21st century. The shaping of constituent assembly faces many challenges that draw academicians to explore new debates. The failure of constituent assembly has affected every aspect of Nepali sphere. Additionally, constituent assembly is a place of dialogue between the past and present for a better future of the country. These are few attempts made to interpret the constitution making debate.
